Catherine Anne

 Catherine Anne O'Hara, OC was born on March 4 1954. She is a Canadian-American comedian, actress, and writer. O'Hara has been the recipient of a number of distinctions that include the Genie Award, a Golden Globe Award and two Screen Actors Guild Awards, two Primetime Emmy Awards, and six Canadian Screen Awards. In the year 2018, she was appointed an Officer of Canada. Then, in 2020, she was presented with the Governor General's Performing Arts Lifetime Artistic Achievement award. O'Hara first drew notice as an actress in 1974, as an actor in The Second City improvisational comedy troupe in Toronto. Alongside John Candy and Dan Aykroyd she was part of the main team of the sitcom Coming Up Rosie (1975-1978). O'Hara was a part of Candy on the sketch comedy show Second City Television (1976-1984). She received critical acclaim both for her acting and writing skills and was honored with the Primetime Emmy Award, 1981, for Outstanding Writing for Variety Series. In 2022, O'Hara was added to the brand-new Second City artistic advisory board led by Stephen Colbert, along with Steve Carell, Dwayne Colbert, Tina Fey, Keegan-Michael Key, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Jane Lynch, Tim Meadows, Peter Murrieta, Suzy Nakamura Sam Richardson, Jeff Richmond, Jason Sudeikis, and Robin Thede.
